Gambling was legalized in Belgium in 2011, unlike other European countries that are either completely opposed to gambling (like Italy) or have patchy regulations. However, Belgian authorities maintain control over the gambling activities in the country by issuing licenses for brick-and-mortar operators. The number of licenses is limited. Only 180 B licenses can be issued in the country, and all of them have been granted. B licensees can also apply for the B+ license, that lets them offer online games of chance.
Supergame was originally a successful land-based casino operator in Antwerp which has moved into the iGaming sector since Belgium launched online market regulations in 2013. The casino offers video poker, table games, and slot machines. Betsoft, on the other hand, is a casino games developer that currently offers over 190 slot titles. Its SHIFT, Slots3, Expandicon, and ToGo brands are popular, of which Slots3 offers a 3D cinematic experience to the users.
